Why is the title what it is?

As most programmers know, the volatile keyword is a type qualifier used to declare that an object can be modified in the program by something such as the operating system, the hardware, or a concurrently executing thread (taken from MSDN). And char is the data type occupying a byte of memory, which in most cases is considered to be the least amount of memory required by variables.
 
There’s another take on the name… I guess all humans have volatlie characters… ha. How’s that for a name?
